Require Filter Selections

Starting in MicroStrategy ONE (March 2024), dashboard authors can require users to make filter selections before displaying data.

1. To set filters as required, select the attributes and/or metrics for a filter, click More , and choose Selection Required.

2. To require that users make filter selections to view data, click More , and choose Selection Required. Users are prompted to make at least one selection.

3. If users modify the default filter settings, they can reset them back to the default selection.
