Enable SAML Authentication for MicroStrategy Library

You can configure MicroStrategy Library to use SAML authentication for single sign-on. You will need to generate SAML configuration files for your Library application, establish a trust relationship between the Library server and MicroStrategy Intelligence server, register the application with your SAML Identity Provider (IdP), and link SAML users to MicroStrategy users.

Before you begin, you need the following:

A SAML Identity Provider
MicroStrategy Library is deployed
A running MicroStrategy Intelligence server

Additionally, Chrome Web Browser version 80 introduces new changes to cross-site embedding. For more information, see KB484005: Chrome v80 Cookie Behavior and the Impact on MicroStrategy Deployments.

It is recommended to configure HTTPS for the web application server running MicroStrategy Library.
