MicroStrategy Developer Preferences dialog box
Use the MicroStrategy Developer Preferences dialog box to customize the appearance and behavior of certain objects and tools in MicroStrategy Developer .
Developer preferences are grouped into the following categories:

Developer preferences, such as home page display, number of objects displayed her page, object details to display, warning messages to display, logout and login options, History List preferences, options for exporting data to a text file, and so on. The subcategories include:

Report preferences, such as report execution and save behaviors, and display of report details. The subcategories include:

General preferences (automatically sized report windows and save changes prompt)

Object template preferences, which let you select whether or not a list of object templates are available whenever a user creates a new object in the project.

International preferences, such as interface language, and what character set to use for double-byte languages such as Japanese or Korean when displaying data in grid reports. The subcategories include:

Optional action preferences, which let you enable warning messages and confirmation messages for various actions in the software.

In MicroStrategy Developer, from the Tools menu, select Developer Preferences.
