Select Derived Elements Dialog Box
You can choose a group of previously saved derived elements to display in a grid in a report or document using the Select Derived Elements dialog box. For an introduction to derived elements, with examples and images, see the Derived Elements chapter in the In-memory Analytics Help.
The first drop-down list allows you to specify a folder to look for a derived element in. When you select a folder from this drop-down list, the contents of the folder are displayed in the pane below.
You can use the Find field to search for stand-alone derived elements. Type the first few letters of the derived element group's name and click the Find icon. The pane at the bottom of the dialog box displays the results of your search.
To Choose Derived Element Groups to Display in a Grid
- Browse to the location of the derived element group to display in the grid.
- Select the name of the derived element group to display, then click OK.
