MicroStrategy ONE
Using Context Menus
MicroStrategy Web can be accessed in either the HTML or DHTML (dynamic HTML) mode. When you access MicroStrategy Web in the HTML mode and right-click on an object, only the standard browser menu is displayed. In contrast, when you access MicroStrategy Web in the DHTML mode and right-click on an object, context menus are enabled. The options available on the context menu depend on the object clicked, so that only actions relevant to the selected object are presented. Relevant actions might include manipulations such as drilling, sorting, and so on.
Some examples of default context menus are shown below:
-
If you right-click on an attribute on a report, the context menu provides a menu option for drilling to the appropriate levels.:
-
If you right-click on a metric on a report, the context menu provides menu options that allow manipulations such as drilling, sorting the values, moving the metric, and so on.:
