MicroStrategy Platform

A business intelligence platform offers a complete set of tools for the creation, deployment, support, and maintenance of business intelligence applications. Some of the main components of the MicroStrategy platform include:

  • MicroStrategy Workstation - a tool to administer and control both projects and environments, providing tools for data discovery and visualization

  • MicroStrategy Library - an application for business users to utilize reporting and analysis capabilities across all client interfaces, including Web, iOS, and Android devices

  • MicroStrategy Hyper - an enterprise analytics tool to inject intelligence and analytics directly into ever user's experience

  • Platform Analytics - a monitoring tool that captures real-time data from the MicroStrategy platform, and uses this data to enable smarter administration and provide a better experience to your MicroStrategy users

  • MicroStrategy metadata - a repository that stores MicroStrategy object definitions and information about the data warehouse

  • MicroStrategy Intelligence Server — an analytical server optimized for enterprise querying, reporting, and OLAP analysis

  • Data Gateways - connections to a wide range of data sources to use in your MicroStrategy analysis tools

MicroStrategy has a range of products and components that you can install on different operating systems.
