Using MDX cube reports and Freeform SQL reports as datasets

After you create Freeform SQL reports or MDX cube reports using the SAP BW data, you can treat these reports the same as standard MicroStrategy reports. This means that you can include them as datasets in MicroStrategy Report Services documents, both in MicroStrategy Developer and MicroStrategy Web.

If you use a Freeform SQL report as a dataset, save the document before executing it.

MDX cube reports and Freeform SQL reports can be only created on MicroStrategy Developer, but they can be executed on both MicroStrategy Developer and MicroStrategy Web.
