Showing attribute forms in the Report Objects pane

The Report Objects pane of the Report Editor shows the components (attributes, metrics, custom groups, consolidations, and so on) included in a given report. This pane, therefore, shows the objects that are added to the report definition, even if they are not added to the layout of the report.

By default, attributes (such as Employee) are displayed in Report Objects, but not attribute forms (such as Last Name, First Name, and ID) are not displayed in Report Objects.

You must have the MicroStrategy OLAP Services product to see the Report Objects pane.

To show attribute forms in Report Objects

1. Open the report in the Report Editor or Report Viewer.

2. If the Report Objects pane is not open, click the Show Report Objects button in the toolbar.

3. Right-click any attribute in the Report Objects display and select Show all forms. The attribute forms are displayed. Bold attribute forms are displayed on the report, while those in normal font are not.

4. To hide the attribute forms, right-click any attribute in the Report Objects display and choose Hide all forms.
