Applying a default autostyle for all reports

An autostyle is a set of predefined report formatting that includes a distinctive format, color schema, and font. In MicroStrategy Developer and Web, the default autostyle used for all reports is called Corporate, which includes a gray background and dark blue font color, as shown in the image below:

You can change the default to use your favorite autostyle for all reports in the project, as described in the following procedure. You can override the default autostyle for a specific report. For instructions, see Selecting an autostyle.

To apply a default autostyle for all reports

1. Right-click the project for which to select a default autostyle and choose MyPreferences. The My Preferences dialog box opens.

2. In the list of categories on the left, expand the Gridfolder, and then clickGeneral.

3. In the Display area, select the default autostyle from the Default style drop-down list. The selection is applied by default to all new reports created in this project. You can still change an autostyle for any report when viewing individual reports.

4. Click OK. You are returned to MicroStrategy Developer.
