Funnel Dialog Box

You can specify display options for a Funnel widget, such as whether and where to show series labels and series values, using the Funnel dialog box.

To access the Funnel dialog box

In Presentation Mode, right-click the Funnel widget and select Properties.

The following options are available:

  • Show series labels: Determine whether the series labels are displayed. The series labels display what each colored section represents, for example, a customer region like Northeast. Cleared by default.
  • Show series values: Select whether the series values are displayed. Cleared by default.
  • Labels Position: Select whether labels are displayed Outside (default) or Inside the funnel. (Available if Show series labels is selected.)
  • Values Position: Select whether values are displayed Outside or Inside (default) the funnel. (Available if Show series values is selected.)
  • Resizable Legend Area: Select whether to enable legend resizing. Enabling legend resizing allows a user to change the size of the legend area. If the widget has a lot of items on it, a user might want to expand the legend area so that they can read all of the text in the legend. Cleared by default.
  • Funnel Layer Minimum Height: Type the minimum height for the funnel layer. The size of the layers is representative and should not be considered to be a strict representation of the percent-to-total calculation of each layer. Default is 10.

  • Inherit graph formatting: Determine whether to apply formatting inherited from the widget's underlying graph report. Cleared by default.

    The following formatting options can be inherited from the widget's underlying graph report:

    • Font type and size
    • Legend formatting, including legend position, background and border color, and font used to display legend items
    • Fill colors used to display areas in the funnel
    • Background and border color of the widget
