Integrating a Third-Party Mobile App with MicroStrategy Identity

Depending on whether the third-party mobile app is supported by a server, you can integrate the third-party mobile app with MicroStrategy Identity in the following ways:

• If the third-party mobile app is supported by a server, use the MicroStrategy Badge app single sign-on APIs to configure the third-party mobile app and server to communicate with MicroStrategy Badge and the MicroStrategy Identity Server. For steps, see the following:

  • Allowing Android App Users to Sign in with MicroStrategy Identity Using Server-to-Server Authentication
• If the third-party mobile app does not have a server, use the Identity single sign-on libraries to integrate the third-party mobile app with MicroStrategy Identity. For steps, see the following:

  • Allowing Android App Users to Sign in with MicroStrategy IdentityUsing App-to-App Authentication

After you integrate the third-party mobile app, you can customize the image and display name shown in MicroStrategy Identity Manager. For steps, see Editing a Mobile App Configuration in MicroStrategy Identity.
