Adding Salesforce Users to Your MicroStrategy Identity Network
You can sign into Salesforce by scanning the QR code that appears at the login page with the MicroStrategy Badge app. To enable users to sign in with MicroStrategy Badge, you must invite Salesforce users to join your MicroStrategy Identity Network.
After your Salesforce site is registered with MicroStrategy Identity, any time a Salesforce administrator adds new users they will automatically be added to your Identity Network as well. You can send invitations to the new users that contain a link and instructions to download MicroStrategy Badge. New users will automatically display in MicroStrategy Identity Manager.
The steps below assume that you have already registered your Salesforce site in your MicroStrategy Identity Network.
If you add users to your MicroStrategy Identity Network from Microsoft Active Directory or OpenLDAP, you cannot add users from Salesforce.
You must have administrative privileges for the Salesforce environment to which you want to enable login access with MicroStrategy Badge.
To import users from Salesforce, you must have a Salesforce developer account or a paid subscription.
