Custom Group element expression syntax

Custom group element qualifications in Command Manager use a specific syntax. For more information on the different types of qualifications that can be used in custom groups, see the Custom Groups section of the MicroStrategy Developer Help (formerly the MicroStrategy Desktop Help).

A custom group element can contain multiple qualifications. The set operators (AND, OR, NOT AND, NOT OR) are used to combine qualifications. For example, a custom group element for customers in the East region above the age of 20 might look like this: 'Region IN ("East") AND Customer Age@ID>20'.
