Mosaic Sentinel Audit and Compliance

Starting in Strategy One (December 2025), you can use the Audit and Compliance module for a complete audit trail of all Mosaic executions and changes made to Mosaic models. Use this module to view the following:

• Execution Tracking: All executions that involve Mosaic models are logged at the object level (for example, attributes and metrics). The following activities are recorded:

  • SQL and DAX query executions against any Strategy model that originate from supported universal semantic clients such as Tableau, Power BI, DBeaver, Strategy and more.

  • Strategy dashboard executions that involve Mosaic models.

• Model Change Tracking: All Mosaic model modifications are tracked including changes to attributes, metrics, and configurations to the Mosaic model itself.

• GDPR Compliance Reporting: Apply the GDPR Audiot Log filter with a selected time range to generate GDPR compliance reports and export them as CSV or Excel files.

This module does not operate in real time. Therefore, you may need to refresh the page to view the most recent actions.

Prerequisites

You must have the Use Mosaic Sentinel and Monitor Activity privileges to access Mosaic Sentinel.

View the Audit and Compliance Module

1. In the Library sidebar, click Mosaic Sentinel.

2. Click Audit & Compliance.

3. To filter a column, hover over a column name and click Filter.

4. Depending on the column data type, select the checkbox next to the value you want to filter on or type a value and click Apply.

5. Click Columns to select the columns you want to display in the module.

6. Expand the time range selector in the top right and choose the time frame of data you want to view.

7. Click Apply.

Generate GDPR Compliance Reports

1. In the Library sidebar, click Mosaic Sentinel.

2. Click Audit & Compliance.

3. Expand the All drop-down list in the top left.

4. Choose GDPR Audit Log.

5. Click Download GDPR Report in the top right.

6. Choose Export as CSV or Export as Excel.

   The file downloads.
