Enforcing Passcode Verification as a Requirement to Access a Badge

You can require users to verify their identities when they access their badges by entering a passcode in MicroStrategy Badge.

If you enable fingerprint verification in your network, you can also enable passcode verification to provide a backup method for users to access their badges if their smartphones do not support fingerprint verification.

If a user incorrectly enters a passcode 10 times, all of the user's badges are deleted.

To Enforce Passcode Verification as a Requirement to Access a Badge

  1. Log into MicroStrategy Identity Manager.
  2. Click Users & Badges.
  3. Under Badge Management, click Properties.
  4. Click Authentication.
  5. Under Secure with Fingerprint or App Passcode select App Passcode Only.
  6. Click Save.
