Installing MicroStrategy Communicator
MicroStrategy Communicator is an app that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store℠.
The MicroStrategy Communicator app must be installed on the same mobile device as the MicroStrategy Badge app. For a list of supported mobile devices, see the system requirements.
To log in to the MicroStrategy Communicator app, you must have a valid MicroStrategy Badge for the network whose users you want to locate and analyze. Additionally, you must have the required roles assigned to your user account. See Defining User Access.
To locate users via the MicroStrategy Communicator app, Bluetooth wireless technology and Location Services for the MicroStrategy Communicator app on your device must be turned on, and your device must have network connectivity.
To Install and Log in to the MicroStrategy Communicator App
- Open the Apple App Store℠ and search for MicroStrategy Communicator.
- Install the MicroStrategy Communicator app.
After installing the app, you have the option of getting the badges for the network whose users you want to locate and analyze.
When installing the app on an iPad, be sure to change the search filter option from iPhone Only to iPad Only when searching in the App or Google Play store.

Tap the MicroStrategy Communicator app.
- Tap Login with MicroStrategy Badge to sign in using your MicroStrategy Badge, then select the Identity Network whose users you want to locate and analyze.
- You're in. Search for, locate, review, and communicate with users.
