Running a Silent Installation

Silent installations do not present any graphical user interface (GUI). They are typically implemented by IT departments that perform software distribution and installation across the network, for example, by using Microsoft's System Management Server software. This involves configuring a setup.iss file that the MicroStrategy Installation Wizard uses. OEMs may use silent installations; however, it is more common for OEMs to use a response file installation.
