Administration Privileges

Have full control over result, element, and object caches in a project

Add or remove nodes in a cluster, and set the default cluster membership

Publish, unpublish, delete, and update Intelligent Cubes

Close database connections

Delete other users' History List messages

This functionality is available for database-based history lists, not for file-based history lists

Kill jobs from other users

Create, edit, and delete subscriptions and schedule administrative tasks

Close user connections opened by other users

Grant or revoke a security filter to another user for a project

Grant or revoke a security role to another user for a project

Use the Change Journal Monitor; view the change history for all objects the user has Browse access for

Have full control over all objects regardless of the object access permissions granted to the user, and grant or revoke the Bypass All Object Security Access Checks privilege to other users

This privilege is inherently granted for use of Object Manager and Project Duplicator if you have the appropriate privileges to use those tools

View and set the report, document, element, and object caching properties

• Project level: Enable or disable project level auditing, and purge project audit entries
• Server level: Enable or disable auditing for all projects and configuration objects, and purge audit entries for all projects and configuration objects

View, set, and refresh the connection map for a project

• Project level: View and set project governing settings
• Server level: View and set governing settings for all projects and for Intelligence Server

Add or remove users to a user group

When this privilege is granted, the Create And Edit Users And Groups privilege is automatically granted as well

View and set the History List properties

Use the User Language Preferences Manager

View and change project settings, and use MDUpdate utility

View and change the project's primary data source, and add and remove database instances for use in data marts, Freeform SQL, Query Builder, MDX, and data import

View and change server-level security settings

Create, view, and change the server definition

To enable or disable users, you must have the Enable User privilege. To grant or revoke privileges, you must have the Grant/Revoke Privilege privilege.
