Security Preferences

Adding security settings to your History List will allow you to maintain the contents within the folder. For instance, you can keep it organized by applying a setting that will delete all of the read messages.

On the upper right of any page, click your user name, and then select Preferences from the drop-down list. From the left, select Security. The following options are available:

• Cancel this session's pending requests?: Determine whether pending requests are canceled when you log out of MicroStrategy Web. The options are:
  • Yes: Pending requests are canceled when you log out of MicroStrategy Web.
  • No (default): Pending requests are not canceled when you log out of MicroStrategy Web.
• Remove the finished interactive jobs from the History List?: Determine whether finished report or document executions in the History List are deleted when you log out of MicroStrategy Web. The options are:
  • Yes: All finished report or document executions are deleted when you log out of MicroStrategy Web.
  • No (default): None of the finished report or document executions are deleted when you log out of MicroStrategy Web.
  • Only the read messages: Only the report or document results that have been viewed are deleted when you log out of MicroStrategy Web.

From the drop-down list at the bottom of the page, apply the changes to the current project or all projects you have access to that are stored on the Intelligence Server and then click Apply.

To reset all preference settings, click Load Default Values.
