Benefit hierarchy

This hierarchy represents the benefits available to employees. The attributes and relationships in the following figure represent the Benefit hierarchy.

Attribute	Description	Example
Benefit Type	General type of benefit offered to employees; see the examples for typical values of the different benefit types.	1 Health Care 2 Insurance 3 Time Off 4 FSA
Benefit	Specific benefit offered to employees; see the examples for typical values for this sub-type.	1 Dental, prescription 2 Life insurance, disability insurance 3 Number of vacation days, number of sick days, and so on.
