Strategy One
Mainstream support for legacy tools such as Developer, Command Manager, and Object Manager is set to end December 2026. Strategy suggests that you upgrade to Workstation to maintain continuity and utilize modern capabilities. Command Manager and prompted objects
Command Manager is not able to manipulate prompted objects other than prompted subscription. For example, it can create subscriptions for a report that contains a prompt when prompt answer is provided, but it cannot alter the properties of a metric that contains a prompt.
This restriction extends to prompts at any level of nesting. For example, if you have a custom group that contains a prompted metric, Command Manager cannot alter the properties of that custom group.
If you attempt to execute a statement that manipulates a prompted object other than prompted subscription, Command Manager returns a non-critical execution error.
