Removing a Menu

This topic provides step-by-step instructions on a removing a menu from a MicroStrategy Web page.

  1. Launch the Web Customization Editor.  

  2. Click MicroStrategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.  

  3. Click Ribbons to expand the ribbon lists used in MicroStrategy Web.  

  4. Click the ribbon list that corresponds to the name of the MicroStrategy Web page that has the menu you wish to delete to expand the list of ribbons used on that page. For example, the report ribbon list is used on the Report Execution page while the rwd ribbon list is used on the Document Execution page.  

  5. Double-click the ribbon that corresponds to the name of the menu you wish to delete to open the Ribbons and Attributes editor in the right frame.  

  6. Select a blank entry from the drop-down menu for Select a Menu.

    If you wish to remove the corresponding toolbar as well, you can select a blank entry from the drop-down menu for Select a Toolbar or alternatively, right-click the name of the ribbon in the Application Settings view and select Delete.

  7. Save your changes.
