Add Existing Objects

You can add existing objects from your environment to a dashboard.

Create a blank dashboard or open an existing one.
To add a objects from your cloud environment or local machine, click More at the top of the Datasets panel and choose Add New Data > Existing Objects. The Add Existing Objects dialog opens.
Navigate to and select the objects you want to use to replace the existing objects in your dataset.
If necessary, you can add an advanced filter for an object to limit the data it displays. Click Add Filter to open the Advanced Filter Editor. Once you add filters, click Edit Filter to make changes. See Introduction to Advanced Filtering for more information.
Choose In-Memory or Connect Live from the Data Access Mode drop-down to specify the access mode for the dataset. See Define the Access Mode for a Dataset for more information about the difference between the In-Memory and Connect Live options.
Click Add. A new dataset, containing the objects, appears in the Datasets panel.
