Modifying the Name and Description of a Page

This topic provides step-by-step instructions on adding a page template for a MicroStrategy Web page.

1. Launch the Web Customization Editor.  

2. Click on MicroStrategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.  

3. Click on Pages to expand the list of pages used in MicroStrategy Web.  

4. Double-click the page for which you wish to modify the name or description.  

5. Provide a name for the page in the Name text box.  

6. Click Modify to add a description from a localization descriptor file.  

7. If you do not use a localization descriptor file, provide a description for the page in the Descriptor text box.  

8. Save your changes.
