My Preferences: Export category, General

In the Export category of the My Preferences dialog box, you can configure the default export settings for this project. These settings include the application to export to, general exporting options, pre- and post-export macro options, advanced exporting options, and format-specific options for the display of specific report elements.

Select the Show export messages when exporting automatically check box to have MicroStrategy Developer display messages about automatic exports. If this box is cleared, MicroStrategy Developer only shows messages about exports that you specifically request.

Click Export Options to open the Export Options dialog box. This dialog box contains the following tabs:

• General

• Appearance

These defaults are applied to all reports in a project. They can be overridden at the report level by accessing the Export Options dialog box for that particular report.
