Level: Output tab (metric qualification filter)

You can set the output level for a metric qualification in a filter. The output level is the level at which the MicroStrategy engine calculates metric results for a report. You can set the calculation at one of the following levels:

• none selected (the default), which calculates the results at the report level if any of the following is true:

  • the metric is a compound metric

  • the metric's dimensionality is set to report level

  • the metric's dimensionality is set to nothing

  • Otherwise, the metric's dimensionality is used.

• metric, which means the level of the metric is used as the output level

• report, which means the output level is defined by the level of the report that contains the metric qualification

• attribute list, which allows you to specify the set of attributes to use as the output level

  If attribute list is selected, the Available objects and Selected objects lists become available, allowing you to choose the attributes for the output level.
