Developer window menu options: Tools

Search for Objects opens the New Search dialog box, which allows you to search for objects by:
Name and location
Date of creation or modification
Type
Objects that contain it
Objects it contains
Ownership
Search for Dependents opens the Dependents of < object name> dialog box (a special instance of the search dialog box), which is used to locate object dependencies.
Project Source Manager opens the Project Source Manager dialog box, which shows the name and connection mode of every project source, and allows addition, removal, and modification of project-source information.
Diagnostics opens the Diagnostics dialog box, from which you can select one or more project components against which you can run diagnostics.
Change Password opens the Change Password dialog box, which allows you to change your password at any time.
External Application Manager launches other applications from MicroStrategy Developer.
Developer Preferences opens the Developer Preferences dialog box, which allows you to modify settings to:
Customize a home page
Select browsing options
Look at project hierarchies
Check the status of submitted requests
Select a language
Select templates
Determine report behavior at execution time
