Developer Preferences: Developer category, Export preferences

Export preferences determine how search results and Change Journal results are displayed after they are exported to a text file.

From the Developer category on the left, you can specify the following Export preferences:

• Delimit data with: Select an option that will separate your sets of data in the text file. Options include separating data by Tabs which inserts a tabbed space between sets of data, and by Commas which inserts a comma between sets of data. If you do not want to use the standard tab or comma delimiter, you can select Other and type a different delimiter in the available field.

• Enclose each data item with: If you select this, you can place quotes or other characters around each set of data. Quotes are commonly used to denote text data. If you select Other, type an alternative character to be placed around each set of data.
