Developer Preferences: International category, Grid Font preferences

Use Grid Font preferences if your data warehouse stores its data in a language that requires a double-byte character set for data display, such as Japanese or Korean. You can select the default character set you want to be displayed in grid reports. This setting allows grid report data to display correctly.

From the International category on the left, you can specify the following grid font preferences for double-byte languages:

• Override the default grid character set: If you select this, the default character set used for grid reports is replaced with a character set that you select. Use the following two options to select the character set and font for data to be displayed in grid reports.

• Select the character set to be used in the grid: Select the character set that will best display your data in grid reports.

• Select the font to be used in the grid: Select the font that best displays the character set you have selected in the option described above.
