Create a Dashboard

You must create and save a dashboard before you can save visualizations of your data.

1. Click Create and select New Dashboard.
2. Add data.
   • To import data from an external source, click Add Data in the toolbar and select New Data. In the New Dataset window, select the data source and then the data. You can modify and refine the data. For detailed steps, see Interfaces for Importing Data.
   • To add an existing dataset or report, click Add Data in the toolbar and select Existing Dataset. Navigate to and select the dataset or report. Click Select.
   • To create a report within the dashboard, click Add Data in the toolbar and select Existing Objects. Navigate to and select the objects to add to the dataset. You can add a filter to the dataset by clicking Add Filter . Click Add.
3. Add objects to your dashboard:
   • Visualizations
   • Text
   • Images
   • Web content
   • Filters
4. You can create chapters and pages to organize your dashboard, displaying and filtering data in the best way.

5. Click Save in the toolbar.
6. Navigate to the appropriate location.
7. Type the dashboard Name.
8. Click Save.
