Missing Installation Files

You see the Missing Installation Files message only if some of the files, required to install the MicroStrategy components you have selected for installation, are not available. If you are downloading only a subset of the installation files to reduce the amount of data that must be downloaded for the installation, it is recommended that you do the following:

  • Determine the files required for the MicroStrategy components you are installing. A list of installation file requirements is provided in the table below:

  • Provide the location of the installation files using an options.txt file. This lets you access the installation files stored on a folder or stored at a URL and accessed using HTTP or HTTPS. Details on using an options.txt file as part of an installation are provided and the parameters used to specify the location of the required installation files are described .

If the files required for the installation are stored in a folder, you can instead click Browse to navigate to and select the folder that stores the installation files. If all the required installation files are provided in the folder you select, you can click Enter to continue the MicroStrategy installation.
