Installing and Configuring MicroStrategy Identity

MicroStrategy Identity can be implemented as follows:

As MicroStrategy Secure Enterprise, installed in your organization's IT infrastructure (on-premise)
As MicroStrategy Cloud, of which there are two options:
- MicroStrategy Cloud Platform for AWS or MicroStrategy Cloud Platform for Azure, managed by your organization's IT department.
- MicroStrategy Secure Cloud, managed by MicroStrategy.

Depending on your license, you may be provided one or more of the MicroStrategy Identity components listed here.

For on-premises implementations, follow the high-level steps described below:

Download and install MicroStrategy Identity
Download the MicroStrategy Secure Enterprise Platform.

Configure MicroStrategy Identity Analytics
MicroStrategy Identity Analytics lets you analyze the activities of your MicroStrategy Identity network to gain insight into your enterprise security. MicroStrategy Identity Analytics is a part of MicroStrategy Platform Analytics which allows you to configure after installing the MicroStrategy platform.
