Enabling Zero-Click Unlock of Computers

The zero-click feature enables users to automatically unlock their Identity-enabled computers without any interaction.

This feature is meant to be used with the MicroStrategy Badge near-by feature when the network is unreliable. When both features are implemented, there is less chance that computer unlocks will be delayed.

For this feature to work, computers must be configured to allow passwordless login. Under Identity Manager > Logical Gateways > Computer Workstation Access, download and run the installer to setup computer login. For more information, see MicroStrategy Badge for Windows (10.7 and Older).

Enabling Zero-Click Unlock

  1. Log into MicroStrategy Identity Manager.
  2. Click Users and Badges.
  3. Under Badge Management, click Properties.

  4. Click Zero-Click.

  5. Turn off the Require User Approval option.
  6. Click Save.
