MicroStrategy ONE
Enabling Bluetooth® and Location Services for a Badge
You can log when and where members of the network use MicroStrategy Badge by enabling location tracking for a badge. After you enable location tracking, all users of the badge are required to enable location services for MicroStrategy Badge and their smartphones. Users cannot use or access a badge until they allow location tracking.
You can also define when a badge is used by enforcing Bluetooth and Location Services settings.
By requiring Bluetooth and location services to access a badge, users can seamlessly interact with your physical access systems and Bluetooth beacons. If you have enabled a timekeeping system with Bluetooth beacons, requiring a user's Bluetooth to be on to access a badge ensures time accuracy. If you have location restrictions on your badges, requiring location services to be enabled enforces this security feature.
When Location Services and Bluetooth are required, if a user does not have either enabled, then they will be prompted to enable the services the next time they use the badge.
