MicroStrategy Web Pages

This section helps you find a customization scenario based on the MicroStrategy Web page that you wish to customize.

• If you know the name of the MicroStrategy Web page in which you want to perform your customization...

  1. Expand MicroStrategy Web Pages in the Contents frame on the left.
     

  2. Click the appropriate MicroStrategy Web Page to expand the customization components under it.
     

  3. Click the appropriate feature or functionality to expand the list of customization scenarios that are relevant to that feature or functionality.
     

  4. Click the customization scenario to view it.
     

  5. For instructions on performing the customization scenario, click the hyperlink within the scenario. The detailed scenario from the MicroStrategy Developer Library (MSDL) opens in a new Web browser window or a tab.

• Don't know the name of the MicroStrategy Web page in which you want to perform your customization?

  1. Expand MicroStrategy Web Pages in the Contents frame on the left. The introduction topic for each MicroStrategy Web Page displays a screenshot of the page.

     or  

  1. If you know the feature or the functionality that you wish to customize, expand Features/Functionality in the Contents frame on the left.  

  2. Click the appropriate feature or functionality to expand the list of customization scenarios that are relevant to that feature or functionality.  

  3. Click the customization scenario to view it.  

  4. For instructions on performing the customization scenario, click the hyperlink within the scenario. The detailed scenario opens in a new Web browser window or a tab.

• If you are unable to find the customization scenario using the methods above...

  1. Click the Search button in the top left corner and perform a search using the relevant key words.

     or  

  1. Access List of All Customization Scenarios in the Contents frame on the left and find the scenario.
