Halting the execution of a script

A script that is currently executing can be manually halted before it reaches its end.

Also, the Stop script execution on error option in the Command Manager Options dialog box controls whether Command Manager halts script execution when it encounters an error.

To halt the execution of a script

  1. Execute a script or part of a script. (How?)

  2. Select the script's Script Window.

  3. Click the Stop button on the toolbar. The script stops. The last completed instruction is selected in the Script window.

To change the behavior of Command Manager on script errors

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Options. The Options dialog box opens.

  2. Select or clear the Stop script execution on error check box to cause or prevent Command Manager to halt when it encounters a script error.

  3. Click OK. The Options dialog box closes.
