Group Imported Objects

Starting in Strategy One (February 2026), you can group imported objects in Sheets to easily perform bulk actions such as refresh, delete, reprompt, and duplicate groups. Trigger these actions by selecting multiple objects and right-click or using More Options, next to Filter .

In the Overview dialog, actions are triggered using the options above the object list, or by using the options available in the right-click menu.

Create a New Group

  1. Connect to Strategy for Google Sheets™.

  2. In the side panel, select the check box next to the objects you want to group.

    You can also create a new group from the Overview dialog. To access the Overview dialog, click the object menu > Overview and proceed to the next step.

  3. Right-click a selected object and choose New Group.

  4. Type a Group Name.

  5. Click Create.

    The object group displays in the object's detail panel.

Remove from Group

To remove an object from a group using the Overview panel:

  1. Connect to Strategy for Google Sheets™.

  2. Click More Options and choose Overview.

  3. Select the check box next to the objects you want to remove from a group.

  4. Right-click an object and click Ungroup.

  5. Close the Overview dialog.

To remove an object from a group using the side panel:

  1. Connect to Strategy for Google Sheets™.

  2. In the side panel, select the check box next to the objects you want to remove from a group.

  3. Right-click an object and click Ungroup.

  4. Close the Overview dialog.

Display Groups in Object Details

  1. Click More Items in the Strategy for Google Sheets™ add-in side panel and click Settings.

  2. Expand the Object Information section.

  3. Toggle on Group.
