Enforcing Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for a Badge

You can require users in your MicroStrategy Identity Network to accept your organization's Terms of Use or Privacy Policy in order to access their badge. For active users currently in your network, they are required to accept the Terms and Conditions to be able to access their badge. For new users receiving their badge invitations for the first time, they must accept the Terms and Conditions of your organization before being directed to their badge.

Network Administrator access to the Identity Network.

Users in your network have active badges.

To Enable Policy Acceptance for Users in Your MicroStrategy Identity Network

  1. Log into MicroStrategy Identity Manager.
  2. Click Users & Badges.
  3. Under Badge Management, click Properties.
  4. Click Policy. The default value for Policy enforcement is Not Required.
  5. To enforce your organization's Privacy Policy, select an option from the drop-down menu:
    • Optional: Users are not required to accept the Privacy Policy to access their badge, but can access the Policy through Badge Details in MicroStrategy Badge.
    • Required: Users must accept the Privacy Policy to access their badge. If they decline, their badge is inaccessible.
  6. To enforce your organization's Terms of Use, select an option from the drop-down menu:
    • Optional: Users are not required to accept the Terms of Use to access their badge, but can access the Terms through Badge Details in MicroStrategy Badge.
    • Required: Users must accept the Terms of Use to access their badge. If they decline, their badge is inaccessible.
  7. Click Save.
