How to Create Cards

There are multiple resources at your disposal to learn how to create cards. Use the tabs below to navigate between our product documentation, video tutorials, and knowledge base articles.

Cards are objects that hold the data that appears when users hover over a keyword attribute in a web browser. When creating a new card, you can select a dataset, identify specific KPIs and attributes to display, and more. Once you create a card, grant users access to the card and deploy it to their browser extension.

  1. Open the Workstation window.
  2. Click Environments > Add New Environment Connection.
  3. Log in to your environment.
  4. In the Navigation pane, click Create a New Card next to Cards.
  5. Select a dataset.

Ensure your dataset is an in-memory cube. See How to Optimize a HyperIntelligence Dataset for information.

  6. The card editor appears. In the editor, you can create cards using a Basic, Profile - Ring, or Profile - Matrix card template.
  7. Click Save.

When you save the card, it is only visible to you. To allow users to view your card in HyperIntelligence for Web, see How to Edit Card Properties and Security.
