Introduction to Advanced Filtering

The Advanced Filter Editor allows more advanced types of filtering for visualizations and derived metrics. You can define one or more qualifications (for example, an attribute element contains abc), control the operator between conditions (for example, OR, AND NOT, OR NOT), group qualifications, define relationships between attributes, and apply qualifications at the visualization or dataset level.

A derived metric with advanced filtering is also know as a conditional metric.
