Open a Dashboard without Data

You can open and edit an existing dashboard without its underlying data in pause mode. This allows you to see dashboard images, textboxes, and visualization containers without loading any data.

Open the Workstation window in smart mode.
In the Navigation pane, click Dashboards.

If you are connected to an environment, the display is grouped into dashboards saved to an environment, versus dashboards saved locally. If you are not connected to an environment, only locally saved dashboards appear.
Right-click on the dashboard you want to open > Open without Data.
Edit the dashboard if needed.
From the top toolbar, click Resume Data Retrieval load the dashboard's data.
