Manage Projects

Projects are collections of objects, such as dashboards, documents, reports, datasets, and cubes that you have permission to access through a connected environment. Projects also contain all the components that support the metadata repository. A project shares metadata with other projects in the same environment, but has its own security settings.

When connecting to an environment, you are prompted to select which projects you want to connect. You can choose to connect one or all of the shared projects. See Update the Project List if you need to change your selections.
