Export Server-Level Settings and Import Them for Use with Another Server

Administrators can export server-level settings to a .csv file and import them for use with another server.

The ability to view or edit certain settings is determined by a user's privileges. All necessary privileges are included in the Administrator role by default. You must belong to the System Administrators group to use this feature.

  1. Open the Workstation window with the Navigation pane in smart mode.
  2. In the Navigation pane, click Environments.
  3. Right-click the connected environment that you want to export your settings from and choose Properties.
  4. Choose Get Info if you are using a Mac.

  5. In the left pane, click All Settings.
  6. Click Export and save the file.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Right-click the connected environment where you want to use the exported settings and choose Properties.
  9. In the left pane, click All Settings.
  10. Click Import and select the file you previously exported.
  11. Click Import.
  12. Select the settings you want to replace.
  13. Click Import.
