Associating an object to a drill map

Association means selecting which object uses the drill map. You can only create associations in the Drill Map Associations dialog box when you are editing the drill map itself, not editing drill maps associated with an object. In other words, when you edit an object, such as an attribute, in the Drill Map Editor, this dialog box is read-only.

To associate an object to a drill map

1. In the Drill Map Editor, click Associate with. The Drill Map Associations dialog box opens. For steps to access the Drill Map Editor, see Accessing the Drill Map Editor.

2. Navigate to the object in the Available Objects list and click > to add it to the Selected Objects list.

3. Click OK when you have specified all the associations. You are returned to the Drill Map Editor.
