Report Data Options dialog box: Alias

In certain cases, you may want to change the name of an object for report display purposes. By selecting an alias for that object, you can have it displayed under a different name without actually changing its title in the project. This subcategory allows you to enter a different name for any of the following objects that appear on the report:

• Attributes

• Metrics

• Consolidations

• Custom groups

The subcategory contains the following:

• Object: Displays objects that appear on the report or template. Click the Object heading to sort the objects alphabetically.

• Alias: Displays the alias for the objects. To add an alias, click in the desired Alias row and enter a name.

• Reset all: Click to reset all the object aliases to the default names.
