Operators for multiple qualifications

Multiple qualifications in a filter are combined with set operators, which govern the interaction between the qualifications. The set operators include the following:

• AND

• OR

• OR NOT

• AND NOT

The default set operator is AND, although you can change it using the procedure below.

Prerequisite

This procedure assumes you have created a filter with at least two qualifications. For more information, see Steps to create a filter.

To change the operator in a filter

1. Open the filter in the Filter Editor. (How?)

2. In the Filter definition pane, right-click the operator to change, point to Toggle Operator, and then click the new operator.

3. Save the filter. (How?)
