MicroStrategy ONE
Metric Editor Formula tab: Identifiers and delimiters
Before you begin
This topic assumes an understanding of level metrics, conditional metrics, and transformation metrics.
The various components of a metric definition are color-coded to help you easily recognize and identify them. Each component also has a set of unique delimiters that clearly show where each component begins and where it ends.
The following table lists the metric components, their format, default values, and default colors.

The default function for a metric aggregation depends on the object selected for calculation. For example, Sum is the default function for a fact aggregation while Count is the default function for an attribute aggregation.
Delimiters
The table shows the delimiter used for each component in a metric definition.
