Defining output levels for custom group qualifications
Before you begin
This topic assumes a basic understanding of levels, including hierarchies. For more information, see The level of data aggregation.
Output levels are the level of calculation for the custom group qualification. You set output levels for metric qualifications, relationship qualifications, and banding qualifications in custom groups.
-
For a metric qualification or a banding qualification, the output level specifies the level at which the metric is calculated for the qualification. For example, if the metric qualification is Sales > 1000, Sales could mean sales per day, month, or year.
-
For a relationship qualification, the output level specifies the level at which the set is calculated for the qualification. For example, a report needs to display all the stores selling Nike shoes in the Washington, DC area. Set the output level to Store.
