Attribute Qualification: Select Objects dialog box
Choose attribute elements to include in an attribute qualification for a custom group element, using the Select Objects dialog box. Select the attribute elements from the Available objects list and click > to move the attribute elements to the Selected objects list. To remove elements from the Selected objects list, select them and click <.

You can choose multiple attribute elements by pressing CTRL or Shift while selecting the objects.

Only 1000 elements are displayed at a time. To view and select additional elements, click Previous 1000 and Next 1000.
Searching for an object
The Find box lets you search for an object in the Available objects list. To search for an attribute element, type the name of the element in the Find box and click Find in List . For example, to find regions beginning with south, type south in the Find box. South, Southeast, and Southwest are displayed in the Available objects list.
The search is not case sensitive; both south and South return the same results.
After you find an object, you can display all the available objects by deleting the search term and clicking the Find in Listicon. All the objects are again displayed.
You can also search for attribute elements using wildcard characters, by typing the search term described below in the Find box and then clicking Find in List . To search for attribute elements:

Beginning and/or ending with specific characters, use an asterisk (*):

To find elements beginning with specific characters, type the characters, then an asterisk (*). For example, to find regions beginning with south, type South*. South, Southeast, and Southwest are displayed.

To find elements ending with specific characters, type an asterisk (*), then the characters. For example, to find regions ending with west, type *west. Northwest and Southwest are displayed.

To find elements beginning with specific characters and ending with others, type the first characters, an asterisk (*), then the last characters. For example, to find regions beginning with S and ending with TH, type. South is displayed.

With a specific name, type the name in quotes (" "). For example, to find the South region, type "South". South is displayed, but not Southeast or Southwest.

Containing a string of words, type the specific words separated by an underscore (_). For example, to find toner cartridges, type toner_cartridge. Toner cartridges but not toners are displayed.

Containing specific characters, use the percent sign (%). For example, to find items that contain the word man, type man%. The Old Man and the Sea, To Engineer is Human, Sony Discman, and Pretty Woman are displayed, among other items.

Containing words with specific letters, use brackets ([ ]). For example, to find items that contain:

The letter T, type [t].

The letters T and Z, type [t,z].

The letters T through Z, type [t-z].

Accessing the Select Objects dialog box

Open the Custom Group Editor. (How?)

Double-click in the Custom Group Definition pane. A new custom group element is created, with the default name Custom Group Element.

Double-click Add Qualification in the Custom Group Definition pane. The Custom Group Options pane opens.

Select Add anAttributequalification and click OK. The Attribute Qualification pane opens.

Click Add in the Element List area. The Select Objects dialog box opens.
