Manage Qualifications for an Advanced Filter

You can create, edit, or delete qualifications in an advanced filter.

1. Open the New Qualification dialog.
2. Select the appropriate options to define each qualification to add to the advanced filter.
3. If you add a metric qualification, select whether to apply it at the visualization or dataset level using the Output Level drop-down.
4. If you have created at least two qualifications, you can change the operator used to combine the qualifications. Click the operator displayed between the qualifications, then select an operator, such as AND or AND NOT.
5. Conditions are evaluated in the order they appear. If you have multiple qualifications, you can rearrange them, to change their priority, by dragging them to another location.
6. If you have created at least three qualifications, you can group qualifications together. Grouped qualifications are evaluated together when the advanced filter is applied to the data.

To group qualifications, hover over the operator between two qualifications and click Group Conditions. The qualifications are grouped together and shifted to the right.

7. Click on any of the items on the screen (qualifications, sets, operators, etc.) to edit them.
8. To delete a qualification, hover over the qualification and click X.
9. Click Save.
